Dictionary of Terms and Phrases Used in American or English Jurisprudence

That which may be touched; actual; corporal; material. Tangible property is property which may be touched, and is the object of sensation. The term includes lands and corporeal chattels generally, and is opposed to such rights as patents, copyrights, advowsons, rents, called intangible property.
