An accessory^ thing; the incident. Accessorium seqiiittir principale, or prineipalem, or naturam sui principalis. The accessory follows the principal thing, or the principal, or the nature of the principal. The incident follows the principal. The more worthy draws to itself the less worthy.' See Accession. ACCESSORHrS. L. An accessary; an assistant. Aecessorius sequitur naturam sui principalis. An assistant follows the character of his chief. An accessary follows the nature of his principal — in treason and misdemeanors: he cannot be guilty of a higher degree of crime.^ See further Accessary.
