An objection to the admissibility of evidence in any cause can only be properly founded on the hypothesis that such testimony violates the law of evidencsin this: that the law prohibits the proof of the particular fact in the manner proposed, or because of its irrelevancy to the subjectmatter of the inquiry. 7 Md. 87.
