7 U.S.C. § 1736O — in this section (3 versions over time)
In this section, the term “agricultural commodity” means an agricultural commodity, or a product of an agricultural commodity, that—
(1) is produced in the United States; or
(2)
(A) is produced in and procured from—
(i) a developing country that is a recipient country; or
(ii) a developing country in the same region as a recipient country; and
(B) at a minimum, meets each nutritional, quality, and labeling standard of the recipient country, as determined by the Secretary.

The term “agricultural commodity” means any agricultural commodity, food, feed, fiber, or livestock (including livestock as it is defined in section 1471(2) of this title and insects), and any product thereof.

The term “agricultural commodity” means a plant or animal species (including a species propagated or raised in a controlled environment or a tree species) and the products derived from that species.

(ii) certified to be sold or labeled as “organic” or “100 percent organic” (as defined in part 205 of title 7, Code of Federal Regulations (or a successor regulation));
(F) other commodities raised or produced on farms, as determined appropriate by the Secretary; and
(G) products processed or manufactured from products specified in the preceding subparagraphs, as determined appropriate by the Secretary.

As used in this chapter, the term "agricultural commodity" includes, in addition to other agricultural commodities, crude gum (oleoresin) from a living tree, and the following products as processed by the original producer of the crude gum (oleoresin) from which derived: Gum spirits of turpentine and gum rosin, as defined in section 92 of title 7.
