Going around or about, from beginning to end: as, circular mileage, q. v. 2. n. In the post-o£Bce laws, a printed letter, which, according to internal evidence, is being sent in identical terms to several persons. The date, names of sender and addressee, and typographical corrections, maj' be written on such circular. * A circular is a paper intended to be issued to a great number of persons, or for generalcirculation. In the form of a letter, may be described in an indictment, as, a " letter and circular." < See Mail, 2; Post-office.
