* Bisallowed: forbidden by law; unlawful; illegal: as, illicit intercourse, trade, distilling. Illicit intereo-urse. Fornication, or adultery.

Illicit trade

In marine insurance, trade made unlawful by the law of the country to which the object or vessel is bound.
