(From the French bagage, a bundle, and thence is derived bagagier, a carrier of goods). One who buys corn and victuals in one place and carries them to another to sell and make a profit by them. A badger was exempted from the punishment of an engrosser by the statute 5 & 6 Ed. VI. c. 14. Jacob.
