A Dictionary of Law

The official publication of the English government, also called the “London Gazette.” It is evidence of acts of stats, and of everything done by the queen in hex political capacity. Orders of adjudication in bankruptey are required to be published therein; and the production of a copy oi the “Gazette,” containing a copy of the order of adjudication, is evidence of the fact.
