Black's Law Dictionary

Ordinarily means subject to speedy and natural decay. But, whore the time contemplated is necessarily long, the term may embrace property liable merely to material depreciation in value from other causes than such decay. Webster v. Peck, 31 Conn. 495.

Perishable goods. Goods which decay and lose their value if not speedily put to their intended use.
