Black's Law Dictionary · Henry Campbell Black, M.A. · 1910

Black's Law Dictionary

To entice a woman to the commission of fornication or adultery, by persuasion, solicitation, promises, bribes or otherwise; to corrupt; to debauch. The word "seduce," when used with reference to the conduct of a man towards a woman, has a precise and determinate signification, and "ea vt termini" implies the commission of fornication. An information for the crime of seduction need not charge the offense in any other words.
