A Law Dictionary, Adapted to the Constitution and Laws of the United States
signifies, in arithmetic and algebra, a combination of numbers representing one or more parts of a unit or integer; thus fourfifths is a fraction, formed by dividing a unit into five equal parts, and taking one part four times. In law, the term fraction is usually applied to the division of aday. In general _ there are no fractions in days, Co.
