A Law Dictionary, Adapted to the Constitution and Laws of the United States

is the acceptance of the bill, after protest for non acceptance by the drawee, for the honour of the drawer, or of a particular endorser. When a bill has been accepted supra protest for the honour of one party to the bill, it may be accepted supra protest by another individual, for the honour of another. Beawes, tit.
