That food which wood and trees yield to cattle. To be quit of boscage is to be discharged of paying any duty of wind-fall wood in forest; Whishaw; Manwood, For. Laws. B0SCUS. Wood growing; wood; both high wood or trees, and underwood or coppice. The high wood is properly called saltus.
