Bouvier's Law Dictionary and Concise Encyclopedia
In Civil Law. A term used to signify the act by which goods are mixed together. The matters which are mixed are dry or liquid. In the commixtion of the former, the matter i its substance and individuality; in the latter, the substance no longer remains distinct. The commixtion of liquid is called corifusion (q. v.), and that of solids a mixture.
