A method of voting in which a voter, in voting for a class of officers, can distribute his votes among the candidates in such proportion as he sees fit It does not exist except by a constitutional or statutory provision; State v. Stockley, 45 Ohio St 304, 13 N. B. 279; this appears to be the settled rule; the cases found in the books are. all on statutory provisions. The right of a stockholder to vote cumulatively cannot be exercised on a single proposition, such as a question of adjourn Bridgers v. staton, 150 N. O. 216, 83 S. EL 892; the motives in exercising this right cannot be inquired into; Chicago Macaroni Mfg. Co. v. Bogglano, 202 111.
