An ordinance or statute. Especially used of those ordinances or statutes passed in the reign of Edw. I. Co. 2d Inst. 15G; Britt c 21. That which is instituted or established for public or private use, as the trading establishments of a government. Etablissemcnt is also used to denote the settlement of dower by the husband upon his wife. Britt. c.
