a combination of the cutting apparatus of a harvester with a quadrant-shaped platform *558 arranged in the rear thereof, and with a sweep-rake operated by mechanism in such a manner that its teeth are caused to sweep over the platform in curves when actiug on the grain and to discharge the stalks crosswise to the direction of the swath aiid out of the way of the team on the return of the machine.
