ACTIO LEGIS AQUILIAE
In the civil law. An action under the Aquilian law; an action to recover damages for maliciously or injuriously killing or wounding the slave or beast of another, or injuring in any way a thing belonging to another. Otherwise called damni injuria actio.

ACTIO LOCATI
In the civil law. An action which lay for the letter (locator) of a thing against the hirer, where the terms of the contract were not complied with by the latter.
