Brohage, \L. Lat. hrocagium, abrocagiutn.] In old English law. The wages or hire, compensation or commission of a broker.

In the Stat, of Jac. I. c. 21, it is written broleerage, which is the modem term. The old form of the word is still retained in the expression brokage of marriage, which signifies a reward or compensation for bringing about a marriage. See Marriage brokage. The business or occupation of a broker.
