A New Law Dictionary and Glossary

Lat. (In the case provided.) In old English practice. A writ of entry given by the statute of Gloucester, 6 Edw. I. c. 7, where a tenant in dower aliened in fee, or for life. It lay for him in the reversion against the alienee, during the life of the tenant in dower.
