A New Law Dictionary and Glossary
Lat. In the civil law. Children by a former marriage, (individually called privigni, or privignat,) considered relatively to each other. Thus, the son of a husband by a former wife, and the daughter of a wife by a former husband, are the comprivigni of each other.
