Concessum

Lat. [from concedere, to grant.] Granted, or allowed. A term of frequent occurrence in the old reports, denoting the assent of the court to a doctrine or position laid down on the argument of a cause. Quod fuit concessum per totam curiam; which was granted by the whole court. See the reports passim. Lord Coke observes that "an il est dit, (it is said,) with Littleton, is as good as a concessum in a book case."
