Concord

[Lat. concordia; L. Fr. peez.'] In old practice. An agreement between two or more, upon a trespass committed, by way of amends or satisfaction for it.

The more modern term is accord. See Accord and Satisfaction. An agreement between the parties to a fine of lands, how and in what manner the land should pass.

It was one of the necessary parts of a fine, and indeed the foundation and substance of it, being an acknowledgment that the lands in question were the right of the complainant.* 2 Bl. Com. 350.
