Lat. In old English practice. A day of favor or indulgence; supposed to be the same with the qttarto die post, as granted by the favor of the court.

It seems, however, to have rather signified any day granted by the court to a party, as a matter of indulgence, or out of the usual course of proceedings, as with a view to an amicable disposition of the suit. Bract, fol.
