Droitural

[from droit, right.] In old English practice. Relating to ri^ht; or, more strictly, relating to the mere nght of property, as distinguished from the right of possession. An action droitural was an action brought to determine the right of property, as distinguished from an action possessory, in which the object was to ascertain the right of possession.

This was the old distinction of writs relating to lands.
