Extrajudicial

[from Lat. extra, beyond, and judicium, judgment or due course of law. See £xtra judicium.'] Out of the ordinary course of law; out of the regular order of judicial procedure; beyond the limits of judicial authority or duty. Applied most commonly to the acts of a judge where he exceeds his authority, or goes beyond what is required of him; as where he expresses an opinion on a point not regularly submitted to him.
