Forfeng, Forefeng. Sax. tfrom fore, before, and fangen, to take; J. Lat. antecaptio, preventio, prior prisa.^ In Saxon law. A previous taking; a taking of provisions from any person in fairs or markets, before the king's purveyors were served with necessaries for the sovereign.
