Lat. [contracted from butticellus, butticella, dim. of butta, q. v.] In old English law.

A bushel

Standardum busselli, galonae et ulnae sigillo domini Regis ferreo signentur; the standard bushel, gallon and ell shall be stamped with the king's iron seal.
