A New Law Dictionary and Glossary
[L. Lat. intratio.] In practice. The putting a proceeding on record, in proper technical language and order. A judgment record is composed of entries of the various proceedings in the action, actual or formal, in a certain order. Books of entries are books containing forms or precedents of the proceedings in various actions, as they appear on record. They were formerly much relied on.
