Cadastu

In French law. Same as cadastre (q. V.) CADERE (Lat.) To fall; to fail; to end; to terminate. The word was generally used to denote the termination or failure of a writ, action, complaint, or attempt; as, cadit actio, the action fails, cadit assisa, the assise abates, eadere causa, or a cawsa, to lose a cause.
