Consentire

I. To consent; to agree to, or with. Cousentirc matrimonio non possunt iufra annos nubiles: parties cannot consent to man-iage within the years of marriage [i. e. before the age of consent]. Consentire videtur qui tacet: he appears to consent who remains silent Consentientes et agentes pari poena plectentur: they who consent to an act and they who do it shall be visited with equal punishment v. Non consentit, etc.; Non videntur, etc.

Lat. [from con, together, and sentire, to think.] To consent; to think with another; to have, or be of the same mind; to agree to, or with.* lT«a e«B«entlt %u% errat. He who errs does not consent.
