To constitute or establish. "Constating instruments" is used to denote the charter, etc., of a corporation. See 37 N. J. Eq. 363. CONSTITUENT (Lat. constituo, to appoint). He who gives authority to another to act for him. The constituent is bound by the acts of his attorney, and the attorney is responsible to his constituent.
