The business of drawing instruments of conveyance; the science and art of transferring titles by instruments of conveyance,— a science, as it embraces an acquaintance with the law of property, and particularly of the principles of alienation; an art, as it applies those principles to practice, in the framing of appropriate instruments of conveyance.
