The term “covered network” means a network or information system of a cleared defense contractor that contains or processes information created by or for the Department of Defense with respect to which such contractor is required to apply enhanced protection.

10 U.S.C. § 6228 — in this section

The term “covered network” includes any network or information system that accesses, receives, or stores—

(A) classified information; or

(B) sensitive unclassified information germane to any program of the Administration, as determined by the Administrator.

50 U.S.C. § 3330 — in this section

The term "covered network" means a network or information system of a cleared intelligence contractor that contains or processes information created by or for an element of the intelligence community with respect to which such contractor is required to apply enhanced protection.
