Within the meaning of the rule that where a witness has wilfully or corruptly sworn falsely the jury may disregard his testimony unless corroborated by "credible evidence," the quoted expression means evidence worthy of belief — that is, worthy to be considered by the jury, and not evidence which is necessarily true. 210 111. 452.
