Adnichile is used in St. 28 Hen. VIII. c. 7, and adnichilate by old English writers. Rich. Diet. ADNOTATIO (Lat notare). A subscription or signing. In the civil law, casual homicide was excused by the indulgence of the emperor, signed with his own sign manual, called adnotatio.
