DOMICELLUS (Law Lat. dim. of dominus). In old European law. A young lord; a title anciently given to the king's natural sons in France, and sometimes to the eldest sons of noblemen there. Spelman; Blount. Spelman says it answered to the Saxon "adeling," "aetheling."
