Thus neither artificial nor solar heat, 6 Taunt. 436; 2 Marsh. 130; nor lightning, nor an explosion of gunpowder or of firedanap, or of a steam-engine, nor the discharge of ordnance, nor a projectile from either a volcano or a gun, is "fire" within a fire policy, unless there be an actual setting on fire directly causing the injury insured against.
