PRO QUERENTE (Lat.) For the plaintiff; usually abbreviated pro quer., or p. q. PRO RATA (Lat.) According to the rate, proportion, or allowance. A creditor of an insolvent estate is to be paid pro rata with creditors of the same class. PRO RE NATA (Lat.) For the occasion as it may arise.
