The writing or instrument which authorizes a procurator to act. Cowell; Termes de la Ley. PROCURARE (Lat. from pro, for, and eurare, to take care of). To take care of another's affairs for him, or in his behalf; to see to the affairs of another; to govern; to manage; to take care of, or superintend.
