In the civil law. A name sometimes applied to the aetovi PUNCTUM (Lat.) A point; an indivisible point of time. See "Punctum Temporis." A quarter of an hour, according to the old computation. Ten moments (momenta) PUNCTUM TEMPORIS (Lat.) A point of time; an indivisible period of time; the shortest space of time; an instant. Calv. Lex. A point or period from which a computation of time is made.
