An officer courts of king's bench or common pleas; secondary of the remembrancer in the exchequer, etc. Jacob. In Medical Practice. Secondary is the term for a disease which is not the primary cause of death.

SECONDARY (or DERIVATIVE) CONveyances. Those which presuppose some other conveyance precedent, and only serve to enlarge, confirm, alter, restrain, restore, or transfer the interest granted by such original conveyance.
