The Cyclopedic Law Dictionary
The victuals and provisions collected together for the subsistence of a ship's company; of a camp; or any like body of men. Store, as commonly used, is equivalent of the English "shop," when indicating a place where merchandise is sold, but in the broader sense it means a place of deposit; a storehouse.
