TEMPORALIS ACTIO (Lat.) An action which could only be brought within a certain period. TEMPORALIS EXCEPTIO (Lat.) A tern-. porary exception which barred an action for a time only. TEMPORALITIES (Law Lat. tempore^ lia). Revenues, lands, tenements, and lay fees which bishops have from livery of the king, and in virtue of which they sit in parliament.
