The Cyclopedic Law Dictionary

In common recoveries, the person who is called to warrant or defend the title is called the "vouchee."

In Accounts. An account book in which are entered the acquittances or warrants for the accountant's discharge. Any acquittance or receipt which is evidence of pajrment, or of the debtor's being discharged.
