Deceptione

A writ that lieth properly against him that deceitfully doth anything in the name of another, for one that receiveth damage or hurt thereby. It is either original or judicial. Fit/.h. N. B. DECIES TANTUM (Lat). An ol writ, which formerly lay against a juror who had taken money for giving his verdict. Called so, because it was sued out to recover from him ten times as much as he took.
