Conveyances which presuppose some other conveyance precedent, and only serve to enlarge, confirm, alter, restiain. restore, or transfer the interest granted by such original conveyance. They are releases, confirmations, surrenders, assignments, and defeasances. 2 Bl. Comm. 324.
