In old English law, to bring together those that are unequal, (dispares conferre;) to connect in an indecorous and unworthy manner; to connect in marriage those that are unequal in blood and parentage. Lat. [L. Fr. disparager, desparager; from dis, priv. and Fr. parage, family or parentage, or from Lat. dispar, unequal. Spelman, Co. Litt. 80 a.] In old English law. To bring together those that are unequal, (dispares conferre;) to connect in an indecorous and unworthy manner; to connect in marriage those that are unequal in blood and parentage, (impares sanguine et natalitiis connectere;) to disparage.
