15 U.S.C. § 3722b — in this section
The term "eligible area" means either of the following:
(A) A local labor market that—
(i) has a prime-age employment gap equal to not less than 2.5 percent; and
(ii) meets additional criteria as the Secretary may establish.
(B) A local community that—
(i) has a prime-age employment gap equal to not less than 5 percent;
(ii) is not located within an eligible local labor market that meets the criteria described in subparagraph (A);
(iii) has a median annual household income of not more than $75,000; and
(iv) meets additional criteria as the Secretary may establish.

In this subsection, the term "eligible area" means an area that—
(A) is located within an urbanized area or urban cluster, as determined by the Bureau of the Census in the most recently available census;
(B) has a large number of prisoners returning to the area each year; and
(C) has a high rate of recidivism among prisoners returning to the area.

The term “eligible area” means a metropolitan area meeting the requirements of section 300ff–11 of this title that are applicable to the area.

Eligible area.—The term “eligible area” means any federally owned or managed park, refuge, or recreational area that is open to the general public, including—
(A) a unit of the National Park System;
(B) a unit of the National Wildlife Refuge System;
(C) a recreational area managed by the Bureau of Land Management;
(D) a recreation area managed by the Bureau of Reclamation; and
(E) a unit of the National Forest System.
