I, Falcidian law.
In the civil law. A law enacted on motion of Publius Falcidius, tribune of the people, A. XJ. C. 714, by which a testator was forbidden to give more in legacies than threefourths of all his effects. Falcidian portion: that portion of a testator's estate which by that law was required to be left to the heir.
